Turbo Lifts

Starships with multiple decks can use a network of turbo-lifts that transport crew throughout the ship. Turbo lifts require voice activation and can only be used by crew members. They are capable of traversing the ship vertically (between decks) and horizontally (across decks), but space has to be assigned to them. When designing your ship there is a special tool for building the turbo lift system.

If the Main Computer Core goes offline, then the turbo lift system will go offline. 

Power Requirements

Each 25 square metre (5m x 5m) turbo lift section requires 0.1MW of power. They can be individually turned off.

Dev Notes

For the sake of the simulation, if the turbo lift system is online, the crew members will automatically use the lifts (and this will greatly help their speed moving around the ship). If the turbo lift system is offline, then crew movement will be greatly hindered.

Because of its design it doesn't take much to damage the turbo lift system. Each section that the turbo lift is in has a health score. If the health for that section drops below 90%, then it is offline (for that section) until repaired.
